It's Adopt A Shelter Cat Month. I just got an email with this file attached and I found this article at Catchannel.com.

So go ahead and adopt one, or two (maybe three if you can...yeah I know it's pushing it) from a shelter or rescue organization near you (ahem...you know...Kitten Rescue has all kinds of cats available...okay I know that's a shameless plug).

As one who has one street rescue and one shelter rescue I can attest that they are the best pets in the world.
