What do our pets say about us?

Hershey sleeping! Something she does quite well! Just another random photo that I thought I'd share although this post is about dogs and cats (what else is new?).

Our lovely sister blog posted a something about what our dogs say about us as well as what our cats say about us too.

As you can tell...every single cat I've ever had has been domestic short hair (the long-haired ones are from friends). Not that I don't like long-haired cats...it's just that shorthaired cats seem to gravitate more towards me...LOL!!

Most domestic shorthaired cat owners found or were given a "stray" somewhere along the way. They are often generous and kind with a predominant quiet side to their personalities that allows them to enjoy curling up and reading a book or enjoy the quiet times of watching television with their cats.

yup! that's me to a tee!!

Hershey just showed up (more like finagled herself) in our lives through my husband's parents who randomly adopted her and realized she was not compatible with them. So we took her because she absolutely adores my husband. She hates Marcie, likes me...but LOVES Chris! So there you go. Marcie and her sister Cleo came to me through a neighbor who rescued them and the rest is history!

Now as far as dogs go I've had a Husky/German shepherd mix, a Samoyed, a Golden Retriever and a Husky/Akita mix and a couple of those aren't listed...hmmmm! Go check it out at Petplace.com and if you want tell me what your pet says about you! :)

Looks like the cat is taking a break from reading ...

heheh!! I never thought of that before regarding this picture. It does look like she was reading something and then decided to take a break from it. That's kind of like me too! I'll start reading a book, nod off for a bit and then start up again. LOL!!!
