A Kong for every dog!

I don't know about you but just about every dog I know these days LOVES Kongs. They are a fun way to interact with your pet and they allow your pet to do a number of things including use their brain (to try and get treats out) and it helps clean their teeth too! Now you can help every single dog at the SPCALA get a Kong toy.

The SPCALA strives to give the animals they serve the best possible care, which includes giving them enrichment activities to reduce stress. Kongs are one of the best ways to reduce stress in dogs. Kong toys can be filled with treats or even just dinner. By
working to remove the food from the KONG toy, dogs become occupied and are less likely to perform negative, dangerous behaviors due to boredom. The SPCALA's goal is to provide a KONG for each dog, and they need your help! Next time you're out shopping for your pet, why not shop around for two Kongs instead of one (one for your dog, and one for a shelter dog).

You can drop off the toy(s) at your nearest SPCALA location. For a location nearest you click here.
