Track and Field competitor Allyson Felix and her Yorkie named Chloe!!
The Olympics are just around the corner (this Friday, Aug. 8 to be exact) and what better way to spotlight the Olympics than through the athletes and their pets. Petside.com has spotlighted several Olympic hopefuls and their pets. I searched around for a local Olympian and, lo and behold!, I came across the profile for Allyson Felix and her dog Chloe (a Yorkshire Terrier), of Los Angeles. She's not a Valley girl but that doesn't matter...heheh!! Sadly there's not much more information on her and her dog but the picture is cute. Some of the profiles have in-depth questions and answers. Check out more Olympic pet profiles here!. Some of them are fairly interesting.

There's also a section that compares dog sports to Olympic Sports!

These two photos compare dog agility to horse jumping. The similarities are uncanny!!
