Chit-Chat about all-area candidates

It’s time to start thinking about candidates for Daily News 2007
baseball and softball all-area recognition.

While many of those in the running for consideration are obvious, it is hoped that someone who
toils admirably for a program perhaps less successful in terms of
winning and losing will come to light for acknowledgment.
The team will consist of 11 members: two pitchers, a catcher, four infielders, three
outfielders and a utility player.
The Player of the Year will be among the first team honorees.
The final determinations will not be based solely on batting statistics or pitching victories. Keep in mind, the
more total the package a player can offer the more likely his or her
chances of being selected.
Please keep the recommendations short and to the point.

There is a pitcher at pioneer who has lost a pair of ten inning games allready this year in the del rio league. He keeps his team in every game but gets the short end of the stick. His team is in last does he deserve any consideration for all league -not all area- but all league or does his teams record take away from his accomplishments.
