Congratulations to Pioneer High School’s water polo team for upsetting Paramount, 6-5 , — at Paramount — Wednesday. Andrew Orozco scored the game’s tying and winning goals in the fourth quarter to put the cap on a standout defensive effort by the Titans. It was their fourth win of the season, and that’s four more than the program had in 2007.

The football fanatics’ postings are appreciated, but it’s nice to hear from folks from other sports, too. How about cross country and tennis and volleyball? Where’s the volleyball faithful with insight into their sport.
