When California plays visiting Pioneer tonight, the Condors will be without running back Matt Urquiza. Coach Jim Arnold said the standout, two-way senior may have suffered a broken ankle in last week’s victory over El Rancho, and while the doctor’s final evaluation of the injury won’t be made until Today or Friday, Arnold said in any case, Urquiza won’t be playing against Pioneer. “It really hurts us because he’s a standout on both sides of the ball for us.”
