Hey folks,

I just wanted to give a quick intro.

My name is Andrew Campa and I’ve officially taken over this blog as of today. I’m sorry for the delay in posts as it’s just a one-man gang here for a while.

I’m excited to take over the position of preps sports editor and look forward to opening up this blog.

I’ve been in the area for 3 years now and did not attend a local school, so I don’t have a natural bias to any of the 13 area schools.

If there is a slant in coverage, it’s primarily to the Del Rio League, which features nearly half of the area schools.

I know there is a question as to which schools we cover and I thought I’d list them here to clear up any confusion.

In the city of La Habra (La Habra and Whittier Christian), La Mirada (La Mirada); Montebello (Cantwell, Montebello and Schurr); Pico Rivero (El Rancho); Whittier (California, La Serna, Pioneer and Whittier); Santa Fe Springs (Santa Fe and St. Paul).

So, I guess all that’s left is to start posting.
