Aguilera gets BIGS call

In case anyone happened to miss it, former St. Paul High standout Anthony Aguilera (class of 05) recently signed a free agent contract with the Colorado Rockies organization.

Aguilera admitted he was “devastated” after not being taken in the 2009 Major League baseball draft in early June while five of his San Jose State teammates were selected.

However, the 23-year-old catcher is relieved to get a chance to continue his baseball playing career and looks forward to reporting to spring training in Tucson on March 1st.

While this may be Dodgers and Angels Country, there’s at least one other club to keep an eye on.

Congratulations Anthony.

    now you’re blogging Campa!!!!

As the majority of the readers here hate St. Paul for their cheating ways, we congratulate this young man. Too bad he didn’t go to a school with more class. Now get back to work!

  • Anonymous

Great job posting these blogs Campa. In one week you already surpassed Roger ( I heart St. Paul ) Murray by a lot. Keep up the great work.

    Anony,

Please give me a list of schools with class?

  • Anonymous

A school with more class than St. Paul is Fred.C. Nelles school for boys.

  • Steve Lozano

St.Paul has the worst academic curriculum, compare to any private and public schools in the country. People can’t find a school that is not more classier than SP.

  • Observer

Your ignorance is amazing! Steve do you even have a clue on to what the definition of curriculum is? What school did you attend? We can see by your grammar why you would think other schools have better opportunities.

This post reminds me of when I was a kid growing up in Fargo. My grandpa used to say “When life give you lemons, make lemonade”. But he was a hopeless alcoholic who never made much sense so I never paid much attention to him. Have a great day!
