Okay, so here’s the skinny on Monday’s big Del Rio League girls soccer game, La Serna at Cal-Hi. The time is tentative with the game beginning anywhere from 4:30-5:15 p.m.

California coach Brian Bordier said he hoped the game could be played at 5:15 but thought it more realistic the game would be played at 5 p.m.

However, the officials ultimately have the final say on the start time. The game is supposed to start shortly after the conclusion of the JV game — which is around 4:30 p.m.

It will come down to whether the officials allow both teams a half hour to warm up. I would like to see the game at 5:15, primarily to allow as big a crowd as possible. But like everyone else that day, I’ll be ready to 4:30 p.m.
