Salinas Getting Looks

La Habra baseball coach Paul Caffrey noted that ace Christian Salinas has been receiving several looks from NAIA programs this season.

Among the list of schools that have shown interest are The Master’s College, Cal Baptist and Concordia.

Before Salinas (0-2, 3.07 ERA) makes his decision he’ll face an equally stiff challenge today as La Habra (4-4, 1-0) travels to Sonora in perhaps the best area intracity rivalry game (don’t freak out Cal-La Serna people. I said “arguably”) at 3:15 p.m.

The Raiders (4-4, 1-0) are supposed to counter with ace Jimmy Litchfield (2-1, 0.00 ERA with 1 save). Litchfield has only allowed three runs (all unearned) in 19.1 innings this season and has a save.

It should be a good game.
