In Case Anyone Missed it — Patrick Fitzsimons is available

One of the area’s formerly premier baseball names is available as one-time St. Paul coach Patrick Fitzsimons recently resigned from Villa Park High, according to the OC Register.

Fitzsimons spent 10 years at St. Paul and won over 200 games with the Swordsmen while picking up five league titles. He was replaced in 2005-06 by then La Serna skipper Casey Morales when Fitzsimons left to Villa Park to replace the recently resigned Scott Luke.

It’s interesting to see if anyone locally will give him a call…maybe Whittier Christian.
