Your Questions, Pt. 7

Here’s the latest installment of “Your Questions.” There weren’t many questions this time around. If you have any questions, this is the place to do so.

Noticed St.Paul looking for several athletic coaches any prospects?

SPP – I know St. Paul was looking for a softball and girls soccer coach at the beginning of the month. I’ll check with athletic director Casey Morales and get an answer soon.

See people that is what a blog should look like…

Campa would do you think? Clean house!!!

FFan – The blog fluctuates in comments. During the football season, the comments usually hit their peak and they’re usually sparse toward the end of the spring sports season.

Campa,

Is there a WDN preseason top 10 on the way? I see your boys at the Trib and Star are each doing their own, and we know AT has his all encompassing top 25. But what about just WDN schools?

K – I like to wait until I see some helmets and pads. I’ve seen just about everyone of the area’s teams in action this summer but that’s either been in passing league or practices. I’ll have one in the next couple of weeks.

Why didn’t you mention that Chino Hills high won the linemen competition beating out powers Lakewood and Chaparral? The Huskies were only a 10 man team who had a solid day. I think that merits more attention than writing about a coach complaining!

CH Huskies – I mentioned Chino Hills in the Tournament story but not on the blog because Chino Hills isn’t part of this area. We are talking about San Bernardino County.

Hey Campa heard that Whittier high football had a bad morning session, but made up for it the second session. Heard that they even made it to the semifinal game.

Big Red – Don’t forget to read the paper. I had a piece the day after the Santa Fe Tournament on Whittier, which started 0-5 but won its next two games and advanced to the consolation semifinals where it lost to Olympus, 30-15.
