Blog Dead Period

Like the majority of area high school football teams, this blog is heading into dead period for a while.

I’m planning on taking a vacation starting this weekend and won’t be back until August 14.

I did want to give two updates first.

The first update regards the prep magazine

The inaugural PrepXtra magazine looks in good shape. All the content (photos and stories) have been submitted and the pages are currently being laid out. I saw La Serna’s page yesterday and it looked very well done. The magazine looks on course to be published a few days before the Friday of zero week.

Alternate Blogs

When I return, I’ll post the Daily News top 10 that will be published in the PrepXtra magazine and we’ll go from there. Please don’t hesitate to take a look at Aram Tolegian’s high school blog (In the Huddle) and Steve Ramirez’s college football blog (The Red Zone)

    Was the author very convincing, or did he miss a few points? Care to share?
    I don’t think it’s up to anyone to judge what people’s posts should be about. Why not allow everyone to just say what they want (in designated threads, ofcourse)?
    There once was a time when I blogged about this stuff like crazy. Not many people came to my blogs.
    Look at me I’m posting comments. Feels good, I hope my ramblings don’t get removed by the admins :)
