It’s on to the first Week 3 video prediction/breakdown with SGVfootballer Aram Tolegian. Here we talk about a pretty solid area showdown between La Mirada and host La Serna tonight at California HS at 7.

After two frustrating losses versus St. Paul and La Habra, La Mirada righted the ship last week with a strong 30-6 win over California. The Matadores received 16 points via the special teams and defense and quarterback Shane Blood (13 of 19 for 139 yards and one score) had arguably his most productive game of the season.

As for La Serna, what can you say after the Lancers beat up on Division 1 Long Beach Wilson, 48-21? Say what you want about Wilson, but the school is considerably larger than La Serna student-wise. The Lancers ground game rushed for over 400 yards but runs into a big La Mirada defensive line.
