The CIF-Southern Section Playoff brackets are being released today between 10 a.m. to noon. While we knew eight local teams would make the playoffs, there were two bubble teams – St. Paul and El Rancho – hoping for at-large playoff berths.

Well, the at-large berths for each division were announced and the Dons gained the one at-large berth from Division 7 (Southeast Division), beating out Diamond Bar.

The four at-large berths were announced from Division 4 (Western Division) and the Mission League’s wildcard was given to St. Francis.
