After 37 years of coaching, California High School girls basketball coach Leonard Espinosa is retiring. The coach recently announced he will not be returning next season. Espinosa coached California for 16 seasons, reaching the playoffs in 11 of 16 campaigns.

Cantwell Sacred Heart coach Greg Gilmore didn’t endure quiet a tenure. The Cardinals coach was fired last Monday after four seasons that produced a 39-73 record (.348 winning percentage) with two playoffs appearances.
