The 2011 Whittier Daily News football team, which will include a Player of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year, will be published on Christmas Eve. It will include photos of each of the team’s 25 players, list of first and second teams and honorable mention and the final top five rankings, and stories on the player of the year and coach of the year.
Also, due to next week being Rose Bowl week, the All-Area teams for girls volleyball, girls tennis, boys water polo and boys and girls cross country will be released in January.

Boys and Girls Cross Country, Thursday, Jan. 5
