Brett Bartolone, a senior receiver from La Habra, has given an oral commitment to attend Washington State.
It came a day after new Cougars’ coach Mike Leach paid an in-home visit to Bartolone on Thursday.
Bartonlone, who was first team All-Area, had 50 receptions for 643 yards and 10 touchdowns in helping La Habra advance to the CIF-Southern Section Southwest Division semifinals this season. He also rushed for 924 yards and 10 touchdowns.
He is the second Highlander to commit to a Pac-12 school, joining Area Player of the Year Aaron Porter, who committed to UCLA during the summer.
