Here are this week’s Area Baseball Top Five.
California, which has won six consecutive games, and rival La Serna both took advantage of previous Nos. 1 and 2, Whittier and El Rancho, to take the top spot for the second consecutive week. It also will add to the rivalry when Cal and La Serna go at it for a home-and-home series, beginning Wednesday at La Serna.
