After a 7-3 effort on my Week 0 predictions, I’m back for another round of picks this week.
The Game of the Week, obviously, will be played at La Mirada High on Friday when La Habra arrives for a nonleague showdown. After its opening loss to Tesoro, La Mirada fell in both the Southeast Division (from No. 2 to 4) and Daily News (from No. 1 to 3) polls. An 0-2 start will not please the Matadore faithful.
Two other games that pit area teams against one another are Montebello at Cal and Whittier Christian at Cantwell-Sacred Heart.
