La Serna and La Mirada each fell in the CIF-SS Southeast Division poll after losses last week.
La Serna fell from No. 2 to No. 5 following Friday’s 24-20 loss to Los Osos, and La Mirada went from fourth to sixth after its 35-26 loss to La Habra. La Mirada, now 0-2, fell in the poll for the second consecutive week.
Following its 16-0 victory over Esperanza, Santa Fe rose in the Southeast poll, from No. 6 to No. 4. La Habra held its No. 2 position in the Southwest Division after beating La Mirada, and Whittier Christian fell from No. 6 in the Northwest Division to No. 7 despite improving to 2-0.
In girls volleyball, defending champion Whittier Christian sits atop this week’s Division 2A poll. La Serna is ranked fifth in Division 3AA and St. Paul is third in Division 4AA.
