La Serna never threatened in nonleague victory over Whittier Christian

Total dominance.
That’s what La Serna’s softball team displayed in Tuesday’s 12-0, mercy rule-shortened victory over visiting Whittier Christian. The Lancers collected 13 hits in less than five innings – three from Taylor Becerra – and scored 11 times in the third, fourth and fifth innings.
But it wasn’t just the offense that led La Serna. Junior right-hander Jamie Wren allowed just one hit and struck out six in another outstanding performance.
After a season-opening loss to St. Paul, the Lancers have won 10 games in a row and are ranked No. 1 in the CIF-SS Division 3 poll.
