La Mirada senior running back Adam Carrasco has been offered a scholarship by Western New Mexico, according to a text Thursday night from Matadores coach Mike Moschetti.
Carrasco was the heart and soul of La Mirada’s offense in 2013, rushing for 24 TDs and over 1,400 yards. He was an All-Suburban League and All-CIF selection, and he was a Whittier Daily News All-Area first teamer.
Western New Mexico is an NCAA Division II school.
