La Habra line comes in just fine

La Habra has a long league winning streak to protect and coach Frank Mazzotta had to wonder at some point how to protect quarterback Eric Barrere and running back Carlos Martin too.
“Our (offensive line) had zero experience and one of them had never played on the line before,” Mazzotta said. “It’s been one game at a time and they have begun to jell and come together.”
Martin, who had more than 400 yards against Colony, had another big effort with four touchdowns in a 42-35 Freeway League-opening win over previously undefeated Buena Park on Friday.
