La Serna 11, Palos Verdes 10 OT — Senior Madison Flareau scored three goals, including the game-winner in sudden-death overtime, for the Lancers (14-14) in a Division 3 first-round victory at Whittier High. Carissa Perez and Bella Villa each had three goals as well and Bryanna Santis scored twice. Goalie Natalie Dickes made a crucial stop at the end of regulation to force overtime. La Serna will visit top-seeded Arroyo Grande in a second-round game Saturday.
