Sonora celebrates after rallying for 82-35 win over Bloomington

Here is today’s CIF-SS playoff advance story, featuring boys basketball and girls soccer:
Sonora High School’s quest to make up for a loss in the last season’s CIF-Southern Section boys basketball finals will take them to Pasadena on Tuesday.
The Raiders, after easy wins in the first two rounds, face the Bulldogs in a Division 3AA quarterfinal at 7 p.m.
Sonora, the division’s top seed, is 25-4 and advanced with wins over Bloomington (82-35) and Northwood (85-57). They are led by guards Christian Rhodes and Ben Rico and inside players Steven Murphy and Aashad Womack.
