California’s Cisco Cuellar is cross country Runner of the Year

Cisco Cuellar appeared content to take a backseat to California High School cross country teammate Angel Aguirre.
But then came the Woodbridge Invitational. Cuellar did not win the popular and well-attended early season meet, finishing eighth. But the race gave the senior enough confidence to take over the Condors’ No. 1 spot on the team.
