Chase Newman was one of three La Mirada football players who received scholarship offers from Colorado on Tuesday.
This past fall was season of the ages for La Mirada, which won its third CIF Southern Section title and scored the program’s first CIF State title.

Elijah Hicks, making a key interception in La Mirada’s CIF-SS championship victory over La Serna, was on of three Matadores to receive an offer from Colorado on Tuesday.
Three Matadores received their just rewards for that accomplishment Tuesday, scoring scholarship offers from Pac-12 Conference member Colorado.
The three are linebacker Chase Newman, WR-DB Elijah Hicks and TE Sire Woods.
