YUCAIPA -- A 3.3-magnitude earthquake shook southwest of the city this morning.

The 1:42 a.m. quake was centered five miles from Yucaipa and five miles southeast of Redlands, according to the U.S. Geological Survey and Caltech in Pasadena.

Residents as far away as Moreno Valley and Riverside felt the earthquake, but there were no reports of damage or injuries. San Bernardino County sheriff's dispatchers said they did receive a few calls from people inquiring about the quake.
