A pair of recalibrated prescription glasses that were
donated helps this youngster to see clearer.

Yucaipa - The Calimesa Breakfast Lions Club collects old computers, monitors, printers, keyboards, and various computer parts. All these items are refurbished for families and schools in need here and in Mexico. So that the less fortunate can have computers.

The Lions Club also collects eyeglasses for its Friends Across the Border program. The glasses are recalibrated and refurbished for the homeless, poor, and those with incomes to low to afford exams and glasses.

To support the Calimesa Breakfast Lions Club's efforts, drop off your used, outdated, or no longer working computers and old glasses at Dr. Van Dusen's office at 34590 County Line Road, Suite 1 (In the Tower Center). For more information, call (909) 795-2416.

The Lions Club is in need of volunteers (and you don't need to be a member). When you drop off your items just mention that you would like to volunteer. They will be happy to have the help.
