Calimesa - A man found dead in a truck Friday confessed to killing his girlfriend's grandmother in his suicide note, said a San Diego County prosecutor.

Fallbrook resident Jeff Nolan, 38, was found dead Friday morning at Calimesa Boulevard and Myrtlewood Drive in the driver's seat of a sport utility vehicle.

He was seen pulling to the side of the road a couple of hours before, Riverside County sheriff's spokeswoman Herlinda Valenzuela said.

There were no signs of trauma. The coroner has not released the cause of death.
