YCJUSD to address classroom temperature settings

| | Comments (0) |

A Special Meeting of the YCJUSD Board of Education is being held Tuesday, Sept. 2 in the YCJUSD District Office board room concerning the current climate control settings in district classrooms and facilities.

Due to severe budget cuts from the state, the Board approved budget
reductions which included changing thermostat temperature set points
to those recommended by Southern California Edison and the
California Energy Commission.

Due to the number of concerns expressed by parents, the Board will consider modification of these set points for all district facilities.

The meeting begins at 4:45 p.m. at the district office, 12797 Third Street, Yucaipa.
