3.4-magnitude quake reported near Cabazon

A 3.4-magnitude earthquake rattled Cabazon late Sunday, but there were no reports of damage or injuries.

The quake was reported at 10:39 p.m. about two miles northeast of the city, according to Caltech in Pasadena and the U.S. Geological Survey.

Residents from Banning, Hemet and as far away as La Quinta reported feeling the quake.

Riverside County fire dispatchers received no calls about problems relating to the earthquake.
