Burglars sought in theft of youth baseball league equipment

Thieves stole a utility vehicle and a baseball pitching machine belonging to a Beaumont youth baseball league, police said today.

An official with the Beaumont Youth Base Ball League called police after realizing the items were missing from the league's storage container at Noble Creek Park.

The Polaris Ranger utility vehicle and a Jugs pitching machine were taken sometime between Nov. 14 and Nov. 16, police said.

Anyone with information may call Beaumont police, (951) 769-8500. People wishing to report information anonymously may call WeTip, (800) 78-CRIME.
