Yucaipa boys' soccer off to good start, in Riverside Poly tournament today

YUCAIPA - The Thunderbirds boys' soccer team, coached by Claudio Rivas, is off to a 6-3 start overall, 1-0 Citrus Belt League. Yucaipa has also won two consecutive games in the Riverside Poly High School, "Tilson Holiday Classic" soccer tournament.

They defeated Poly, 1-0, and Victor Valley of Victorville, 4-0.

Action continues (today) Monday, Dec. 22 in the Tilson tournament with a 9:30 a.m. match with Palm Springs at Riverside Poly High School.

Directions: Take Interstate 10 west to 215 south. Follow 215 until it becomes the 91 Freeway. Exit at Central Avenue off ramp and turn left on to Central. Follow Central to Victoria Ave. and turn right to Poly High School.
