Yucaipa knocks off Palm Springs, face Beaumont in tourney championship

BEAUMONT - The Yucaipa Girls' Soccer team made it three wins in a row in the Beaumont Girls' Soccer Tournament by defeating Palm Springs, 3-0, on Friday. Yucaipa got single goals from Isamar Meza, Kodi Lavrusky, and Nicole Cheers.

The victory sets up a winner take all championship match on Saturday (today) at 9 a.m. at the Beaumont Soccer Complex on Beaumont Avenue.

The soccer complex is located on Beaumont Avenue about a quarter mile south of Cherry Valley Blvd.
