Yucaipa girls soccer strives to keep win streak going

YUCAIPA HIGH SCHOOL - The Lady Thunderbirds soccer team will try to keep its nine-game win streak alive today in a 3:15 p.m. match with the visiting Carter Lady Lions.

Yucaipa comes into the match with a 4-0-1 record in the Citrus Belt League (15-2-2 overall), while Carter has a record of 2-1-2 CBL, 6-6-4 overall. The Lady Thunderbirds are also ranked number eight in Div. II of the latest CIF-Southern Section Polls.

Kodi Lavrusky leads Yucaipa with 23 goals, while Tina Shoffeitt has 7 assists. In the CBL, Yucaipa is on top with its 4-0-1 record, followed by REV at 3-0-1, and Redlands, 4-1-0.
