Swim lessons and Lifeguard training at Yucaipa Seventh Street pool

YUCAIPA - For a refreshing swim join us at the City of Yucaipa 7th Street Pool located at 12385 7th Street. The pool will be open to the public June 13 through August 16th Pool hours are Sat. and Sun. 1-6 p.m., Mon. through Thurs. 12:30 - 3:00 p.m. and Fridays 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Fees for open swim are 17 years and under $2.00, 18-54 years $2.50 and 55 years plus $2.00. For additional information please call 790-7460 ext. 24 or you may call the swimming pool at 797-3280 beginning June 13th
Swimming Lessons
The City of Yucaipa offers a "Learn to Swim Program" throughout the summer months at the 7th Street Pool. Each swim session offers (8) lessons Mon. through Thurs. for 30 minutes each day. Morning and afternoon classes are available. Cost per session is $40.00 per participant.
- Session dates are as follows:
- Session I, June 15 - June 25.
- Session II, June 29 - July 9.
- Session III, July13 - July 23.
- Session IV, July 27 - August 6.
- Session V, August 10 - August 14 (1) week mini course $20.
Private and Semi Private Swim Lessons:
Private and Semi private swim lessons are available at the 7th Street pool. Private lessons are great for accelerated learning and building water confidence. Registration begins on June 12th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the pool.

Junior Lifeguard Program:
Participants must be 12 years of age and older. Classes are held Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Program fees are $125.00 per (8) class session. Junior lifeguards will learn CPR, First Aid, rescue and swimming techniques.
- Session I, June 22 - July 15.
- Session II, July 20 - August 12.
Registration begins June 12th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and continues during regular pool hours thereafter.

Imm currently servig in the military overseas on a deployment. An im interested in attending one of your courses to help better myslef as a swimmer. because im not thaat confident in the water but im pretty good at swimming. the job im looking foward to do in the future deals alot in the ocean. any advice.
