October is #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth and we’re super happy to team up with our friends at @beer4boobs to support the cause and give back to charity. Abnormal brewed a very special beer- our version of a classic summer thirst quencher but in beer form- Pink Lemonade. We decided to can this special beer and donate a % of keg and can sales back to Beer for Boobs. So anytime you see Abnormal’s Pink Lemonade on draft at your local bar or if you pick up a 4 pack of cans, know you are drinking for a cause! What’s better than that? Follow our friends at @beer4boobs to see what upcoming events or fundraisers they have coming up and how you can help in the fight against breast cancer. Cans available here at @thecorkandcraft and will be going out for distro this week! Stay tuned for their locations. . Can/keg inquiries can be sent to our sales team sales@abnormalbeer.com 👊🏼

Tickets are available now for the upcoming Backroom Beer Pairing event at Barons Market.

The charity event is set for 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24.

The quarterly events pair a partner brewery’s beer — Rancho Bernardo’s Abnormal Beer Co., in this case — with recipes made with food available at Barons.

The pairings for this event include:

  • Tiki Life for Me: Island Cocktail Wheat Ale paired with Pomegranate Salad
  • Boss Pour IPA: Paired with Parmesan Truffle Fries
  • Hazy Dreams IPA: Paired with Barons Chicken & Dumpling Soup
  • Pink Lemonade: Fruit Wheat Ale paired with Pulled Pork Slider

The full price of the $15 ticket will go to breast cancer support. Proceeds from Barons’ Riverside County locations — Murrieta, Temecula, and Wildomar — will benefit Michelle’s Place, an organization which helps women with cancer improve their quality of life through education, supportive services, and practical assistance.

Proceeds from its San Diego area markets will benefit Breast Cancer Prevention Partners.
