Looking for a different way to celebrate Valentine’s Day? On
Feb. 14, the Pasadena Symphony will launch its “Live at Noor” program in
conjunction with Noor Restaurant in Pasadena’s Paseo Colorado complex.

Pianist Yana Reznik, who is working with Noor Restaurant and
Events to plan the ongoing project, will play a two-piano recital with Esther
Keel, who will be the soloist with the PSO on Feb. 18 playing Saint-Sans Piano
Concerto No. 5 (Egyptian). (LINK)

The event on the 14th will begin at 7:30 p.m.
with drinks and appetizers. At 8, Reznik and Keel will play four-hand piano
music by Brahms, Barber, Chopin, Liszt, Saint-Sans, along with a tango by
Pizzola.

Tickets are listed on the Web site at $60 but Paul Zdunek,
CEO of the Pasadena Symphony Association, says “We are offering the tickets for
$30 for all symphony constituents — the coupon code is “Noor14.”  Information:

This isn’t the first music program held at Noor;
last year it was the site of the California Philharmonic’s “Music, Martini and
the Maestro” series.
