Inland Empire Restaurant Week has returned

Stick a fork in it, indeed.

We really didn’t have our hopes up for a return, but Inland Empire Restaurant Week is back!

The sometime annual, sometime semi-annual event returned Friday (August 11) and runs through August 24.

The event gives participants an opportunity to discover new restaurants — or rediscover old favorites — for a discount price.

Many of the participating restaurants are offering a multi-course lunch for $10, $15 or $20 and/or a multi-course dinner for $20, $30 or $40.

Of course, not all restaurants are adhering to the special prix fixe pricing and are offering their own customized specials.

More than 40 restaurants from Temecula to Montclair are participating in this year’s event.

This time around, breweries — including Kings Brewing Company, Aftershock Brewing Co., Inland Empire Brewing Company, Refuge Brewery and Wicks Brewing Co. — are participating, with specially-priced beer flights.

A pair of wineries — Cougar Vineyard and Winery and Vindemia Winery in Temecula — are also participating, offering specially-priced wine tastings.
