Kings talk after loss to Devils in Game 5

The Kings tried to put a postive face on their loss to the Devils in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final. But the fact is they’ve now dropped two straight games to surrender all momentum to New Jersey and now return home for Game 6 Monday facinf a future Hall of Fame goalie and a very confident Devils team.

More practice video

With two days off between Games 4 and 5 coach Darryl Sutter let the Kings rip a little bit more this afternoon than he had the last few practice sessions, most of which were used to get guys ready to play rather than actually work out.

Simon Gagne talks about his comeback

You have to feel good for Kings winger Simon Gagne, who returned to the ice Monday for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final after being sidelined since December 26 with a concussion.

Gagne was determined to come back this year, but he was also mindful of not rushing back considering the long-range implications of head injuries.

Gagne spoke after Game 3 of the long ordeal of making his way back and the satisfaction of joining his teammates in their historic quest.
