Flintridge Prep 12, Mayfield 2 — Natalie Dale went 4 for 4 with four RBIs, Alex Tutwiler went 2 for 4 with three RBIs and Libby Penn went 2 for 4 with an RBI to lead the Rebels (10-4, 5-3) to the Prep League win.

Boys volleyball
Pasadena Poly 3, Chadwick 0 — Richard Berry had six kills, Dean Behairy had nine blocks, Lucas Bohlinger had eight digs and William McConnell had 25 assists for the Panthers (11-8, 4-4) in a 25-17, 25-17, 25-14) Prep League game.

Arcadia 16, Crescenta Valley 2 — Brian Kim, Jonathan Figueira and Subham Dikhit swept in singles to lead the Apaches (20-2, 12-0) to the Pacific League title.
Maranatha 17, Whittier Christian 1 — Bryan Lin swept in singles and the teams of Phil Ahn and Brian Lin and Matthew Leiva and Billy Tan swept in doubles to lead the Munutemen to become Olympic League Champs.

Boys volleyball
Pasadena Poly 3, Rio Hondo Prep 1 — Kris Shepherd had 23 kills, Richard Berry registered seven blocks, Lucas Bohlinger had 11 digs and William McConnell had 37 assists for the Panthers (10-8, 3-4) in a 25-23, 18-25, 25-23, 25-17 Prep League victory.

Boys golf
Prep League Individual Tournament — Flintridge Prep’s Jonah Sacks shot a two-day 156 at Brookside Golf Course to advance to the CIF Regional tournament. Daniel Zhu (Pasadena Poly) tied for second with a 159 and also advanced. Pasadena Poly’s Charley Foy also advanced.

La Salle 199, Bishop Amat 253 — La Salle (17-0, 8-0) had the top five finishers of the day at Santa Anita Golf Course par 36 to defeat Bishop Amat (7-5, 5-3) in a Del Rey League match. Tyler Anastasia led the way with 34, Noah Gohrick shot 38, WIlliam Kinney and Zach Christopher both shot 41 and Jose Yee shot 45.

Rio Hondo 2, Flintridge Prep 0 — Pitcher Therese Oshiro struck out six for the Rebels (9-4, 4-3) in a Prep League loss.
Pasadena Poly 11, Mayfield 4 — Brennah Bronk was the winning pitcher, striking out four, and went 2 for 3 with a double and two runs for the Panthers (7-5, 6-1) in a Prep League win. Tara Adarker went 3 for 4 with a double, Laura Chin went 2 for 4 with a run and Maddie Magee had a double for Pasadena Poly.

Baseball
Arcadia 10, Hoover 0 — Brett Porter was the winning pitcher, striking out six, and Menno Heinrichs, Loren Iwasaki and Mikey Saenz each had two RBIs for the Apaches (13-7, 7-2) in a Pacific League rout.
Montebello 3, Alhambra 2 — Pitcher Gilbert Romero struck out 10 and had an RBI for the Moors (14-9-1, 4-5) in an Almont League loss against the Oilers (12-9, 9-0).

Boys swimming
Arcadia 91, Crescenta Valley 79 — Tenny Chong won the 50-yard freestyle (45.85) and the 100 freestyle (45.85), Ryan Wang won the 200 IM ( 2:17) and Adrian Lim won the 100 backstroke (56.53) for the Apaches (9-0, 6-0) in a Pacific League meet.

Girls swimming
Crescenta Valley 111, Arcadia 59 — The Apaches (8-1, 5-1) lost a Pacific League meet against the Falcons (6-0).

Boys tennis
Maranatha 12, Valley Christian 6 — Bryan Lin, Kelvin Ye and Julian Lin swept in singles to lead the Minutemen (8-0, 12-2) to win their fourth straight Olympic League championship. The teams of Matthew Alleman and Phillip Ahn and Drew Sierra and Matthew Leiva swept in doubles for Maranatha.
Arcadia 18, Hoover 0 — The teams of Ken Nakamine and Kevin Yang and Jimmy Liu and Matt Kim swept in doubles for the Apaches (19-2, 11-0) in a Pacific League match.

Saturday Recap: San Marino boys tennis does well at the 116th Ojai Tennis Tournament

The San Marino High School doubles team of Connor Lee and Bryce Pereira won the high school doubles portion of the prestigious 116th Ojai Tennis Tournament on Saturday.
The pair did not drop a set en route to its first tournament title. Lee and Pereira defeated Point Loma’s Keegan Smith and Ivan Thamma 6-2,7-5. The Point Loma pair lost in the title match last year.
San Marino is undefeated in Rio Hondo League competition. Lee and Pereira defeated top seed and 2015 champion Bradley Cummins and Alex Kuperstein of Palm Desert in the semifinals on Saturday, 6-3, 6-2.
San Marino’s Devon Jack, who reached the CIF Southern Section individual semifinals last fall, and Kalani Soli won the Ojai girls 18 doubles title on Saturday, defeating No. 2 seed Martina Bocchi and Alyssa Rudin 6-0, 6-1. Jack and Soli, the tournament’s top seed, won their semifinal match by the same score.

Baseball
Maranatha 9, Temecula Valley 6 — Charles Acker was the winning pitcher and Paul McAllister earned the save for the Minutemen (13-6-1, 3-3) in a So Cal Baseball Academy Preseason Tournament victory.
