Landon Donovan came on as a 77th minute substitute today to mark his first league appearance for Germany’s Bayern Munich in a 1-0 loss to Hamburger SV.

Donovan almost set up Bayern’s equalizing goal shortly after coming on, but was ultimately unable to prevent Hamburg from leap-frogging them to go top of the table.
