Carlo Chueca, 20, will join Chivas USA from Belgian club Mons, where he failed to crack the starting lineup, although he did appear for that team’s reserves over the last two seasons, the Goats said in a news release today.

During his stint in European soccer, the 20-year-old  left-footed attacker stood out with his high performance on the attacking end and his possession skills. Chueca is also known for his talents on set pieces, as he demonstrates a powerful and accurate strike. In addition, Chivas’ new signing has the ability to distribute the ball from long distances and change the run of play across the field.
