The Whittier Daily News 2006 All-Area football team is scheduled to be announced tomorrow (12/27).

It has been interesting reading the posts concerning who should and who shouldn’t be included.
It’s never easy finalizing the teams, but two things are always certain:
One, those who are selected deserve to be there;
Two, there will be players who are left off, not because they weren’t deserving, but because there are a predetermined number of spots and they became victims of the numbers.
In any case, it has been an interesting season of football, and those of you who have participated here have helped make it so.
