Hyun-Jin Ryu won’t travel with the Dodgers, after all.

MILWAUKEE — Dodgers pitcher Hyun-jin Ryu isn’t travelling with the Dodgers on their 7-game road trip this week as previously planned. Ryu will continue his rehab in Los Angeles and throw to a live batter at some point this week, manager Don Mattingly said Monday.

Yasiel Puig will be the batter. He’s also in Los Angeles recovering from a strained left hamstring and is slated to go on a minor-league rehab assignment at some point this week.

Ryu was transfered to the 60-day disabled list today as a procedural move to make room for new pitcher Matt West on the 40-man roster.
