Looking for fun activities for your children? Check out the fall classes at the Rowland Recreation Department. Then come out for special Saturday registration hours from 9 to 11 a.m. on Sept. 14, 21.
Exciting new classes include Latin Percussion for ages 6 years to adults. Students will learn the congas, timbales, bongos and other hand percussions.
There’s also Math & Logic for grades K-6, a program to help students with their problem-solving and logical thinking skills. Why not try the one-day etiquette workshops, Youth Etiquette and Life skills for Teens.
The Rowland Adult & Community Education Recreation Department is located at 2100 Lerona Ave. in Rowland Heights, next door to Killian Elementary School.
