Ebrahim Salman leads Kaiser to victory over Jurupa Hills

Ebrahim Salman proved to be the top cat on the court in Kaiser’s victory over crosstown rival Jurupa Hills, 62-53, in boys basketball nonleague play.

Salman scored 26 points for the Cats (13-2) while Armani Dodson and Kenneth Smith each contributed with nine points apiece.
It was the defense that proved to be dominant limiting the Spartans (4-12) to just two points in the fourth quarter after coming off its highest scoring quarter of the game in the third with 20 points.
For the Spartans’ offense, Chiyindu Eegeonu scored 20 points while Daniel Soto added 18 points in the loss against the Cats.
Kaiser will return to the court Friday against Rancho Cucamonga at 6 p.m. before opening Sunkist League play against Summit on Wednesday at home.
Jurupa Hills will play at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday against Indian Springs in San Andreas League play.
